We are Elisabeth and Christopher, founders of Muse, a boutique established in 2010.

Before embarking on our journey into retail, we each made our mark in the world of luxury: Elisabeth at Hermès, Christopher at LVMH. There, we learned the importance of high standards, an eye for detail, and respect for the right gesture — the things that distinguish a beautiful object from one that is made to last.

Then came India. A journey that moved us deeply. We fell in love with what the human hand can accomplish: the patience of artisans, the precision of the gesture, the beauty of craftsmanship passed down from generation to generation. What we saw there confirmed something we already carried within us: a deep attachment to craft and to the art of making by hand.

Aayat was born from this encounter. A brand that celebrates the work of the hand, the authenticity of materials, and the time taken to do things well. Each piece carries the trace of those who shaped it, and that is what makes it unique.
